Is $72K Just the Start? Bitcoin Bulls Aim High with 6 Digit Targets
Bitcoin’s recent rise above $70,000 has excited analysts and traders, and target estimates are now moderate. On October 29, Bitcoin’s price rose 5.86% to a 20-week high of $71,500, trading volume doubled to $47.5 billion, and there were a number of short liquidations. While BTC reached an all-time high of $73,835, the $72,000 level appeared to be a key resistance point, with the support zone of $66,845 to $68,948 indicating an uptrend. Market experts say that if Bitcoin breaks above $72,000, it could continue its rise, potentially reaching a new high of $94,000, and even reaching the $150,000 target by the end of 2025, supported by historical trends and bullish indicators.
Meta Bets on AI for Search—A New Engine to Compete with the Giants?
Meta is developing its own AI search engine to reduce reliance on Google and Microsoft’s Bing. The new search tool, which has been in development for eight months, will use conversational artificial intelligence to provide news and event summaries from Meta’s chatbot and will integrate with Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Meta’s move follows trends in AI, with companies like OpenAI and Apple also exploring dedicated tools. Meta recently announced a partnership with Reuters to bring AI-powered news features to its platform, bringing back news content after years of distancing itself from politically sensitive news and passive news feeds.
Could Real-World Assets Hit $600B? The Sector’s Rapid Expansion Unveiled
Research from major financial institutions shows significant growth in the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), with estimated assets under management expected to reach $600 billion by 2030. Demand continues to grow, and it is estimated that the sector could represent 1% of total global investment and ETF assets within a decade. Bonds are expected to make this change due to their relationship with blockchain (reporting efficiency and reduced cost). Tokenization still holds promise for private equity, but public equity may see slower adoption. Real estate and commodities face regulatory hurdles but are emerging areas of interest. The Financial Stability Board noted that while RWA adoption is still low, it is increasing, led by government debt and private equity. Meanwhile, non-chain value has also increased, rising 60% this year to $13.3 billion.
Bhutan’s Moves $65M Bitcoin to Crypto Exchange Sparks Speculation of Big Sale
The Kingdom of Bhutan has moved $65.66 million worth of Bitcoin to Binance, likely signaling a sell off plan. Bhutan is the first government to choose Binance for a sale, unlike the US and Germany, which have chosen platforms like Coinbase and Kraken. Despite the changes, Bhutan still has an active state-run Bitcoin mining sector controlled by Druk Holdings and Investments, which generates around 780 BTC per month. With more than $900 million in Bitcoin and additional Ethereum holdings, Bhutan appears committed to a long-term cryptocurrency strategy that equates sell-offs with continued mining rather than a full divestment
MrBeast Under Fire: Allegations of $23M Earned through Crypto Scams Surface
MrBeast, a famous YouTuber with 320 million plus subscribers, and members of his influencer circle have made millions of dollars by illicit cryptocurrency trading deals. They claim that MrBeast used his influence to engage in insider trading with around 50 crypto wallets connected to himself through on-chain data. One of his major sources of income comes from SuperVerse, which he has been heavily promoting, generating around $10 million profit from various projects. Despite SuperVerse’s token price increasing by 50 times, many early investors still face restrictions, raising concerns about the integrity of the project. This situation shows the broader trend of celebrities involved in cryptocurrencies, which often results in investors losing money due to failed projects.
